Ina Garten’s New Cookbook Is Coming—Here’s a Sneak Peek
Ina Garten has a new cookbook on the way, and we’re already hungry.
The Barefoot Contessa recently gave fans a little preview of what’s coming by sharing a recipe from her new cookbook, and in true Ina fashion, it’s simple, delicious, and perfect for sharing.
To celebrate, we’re sharing a taste of what’s to come before bringing even more Ina-inspired cooking into the kitchen at Los Angeles Cooking School.

A Sneak Peek Recipe from Ina
Caipiroska
There’s something about an Ina Garten recipe that makes entertaining feel completely doable. This one is no exception.
Ingredients
Ice, preferably shaved or small cubes
2 ounces freshly queezed lime juice (2 limes)
2 ounces good vodka
1 ounce simple syrup
2 lime quarters
Directions
Fill an 8-ounce highball glass with the ice and set aside.
Pour the lime juice, vodka, and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker. Squeeze the juice from the lime quarters into the shaker and add the squeezed rinds to the shaker, too. Add the ice from the glass and shake for at least 30 seconds. Pour the entire contents of the shaker into the glass and serve ice cold.
Note: For simple syrup, combine 1 cup with 1 cup water in a small pot and heat just until the sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until cold.
